We can now confirm that we have submitted the planning application for Misterton Quarry to Leicestershire County Council (LCC).

As you will be aware, we formally consulted with residents between 2 and 15 September 2024. Thank you to everyone who participated and all the feedback we received.

In response to feedback, the final scheme we submitted has a revised layout for the plant site. We have moved the main operational elements (the processing plant and stockpiles) farther away from the residential properties to further minimise the potential for noise and dust. Instead, we have located the clean water and silt lagoons next to the northeast boundary of the site. Please see a revised layout here.

LCC have now validated the planning application and will shortly begin their own statutory consultation. This will provide you with another opportunity to comment on the proposals.
